Beverley Racecourse is a small, tight track in East Yorkshire. Only one mile and three furlongs round, it has a famously demanding five-furlong straight.
The course’s two most prominent races are both held over that minimum distance. The Hilary Needler Trophy for two-year-old fillies in late May and the listed Beverley Bullet Stakes, which is always extremely well contested in front of a bumper crowd in August.

Beverley races are currently being run behind closed doors because of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
This is set to be reviewed and updated in line with government advice, with Beverley races keen to welcome back punters as soon as it is safe to do so.
It’s still worth checking Beverley races fixtures because the decision to allow spectators in could change. If you book tickets to a Beverley Racecourse event that is then moved to behind closed doors, refunds will be processed through the course’s official website.
