History of Kempton Park Racecourse
Founded in 1878, Kempton Park Racecourse was established after SH Hyde leased out the Kempton Manor and Park, a purchase he made after a country carriage drive. Since then, the racecourse has become a major social venue around London, and it hosts many of the most important chases in Britain.
