2013 World Hurdle Betting Preview
The World Hurdle is the feature event on day three of the 2013 Cheltenham Festival and is the leading long-distance hurdle event of the jumps racing season.
The 2013 World Hurdle has a different complexion this year as winner of the last four editions Big Buck’s will not contest the race because of injury.
The absence of Big Buck’s has really thrown the race open and this is reflected in the betting market with seven horses priced at odds of less than 11/1.
Oscar Whisky (7/2) is the favourite in the 2013 World Hurdle betting market at Titan Bet (Free £35) followed by Reve De Sivola (9/2) Get Me Out Of Here (8/1), Bog Warrior (9/1) and Peddlers Cross (10/1).
This is arguably the most difficult betting race of the entire festival so our team of horse racing experts have analysed the form guide facts to come up with a trifecta tip for the 2013 World Hurdle.

2013 World Hurdle Trifecta Tip
Reve De Sivola (9/2) from Solwhit (10/1) and Peddlers Cross (10/1)
Reve De Sivola is the in-form horse and is terrific value at his current odds of 9/2. The eight-year-old scored in a fourteen length romp in the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle before defeating Oscar Whisky in the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham. The winner of both these races has an excellent record in the World Hurdle and the son of Assessor has previously won over the track and distance of this race. At odds of 9/2 Reve De Sivola is the best bet of the day.
Solwhit is an extremely consistent horse who hasn’t finished outside the top two since the 2010 Champion Hurdle. The son of Solon is coming off an easy victory in the Limestone Lad Hurdle and in 2011 went within two lengths of defeating 2013 Champion Hurdle winner Hurricane Fly on three occasions. Solwhit is an excellent each way betting option in the 2013 World Hurdle.
Peddlers Cross started his career with eight last victories and has been in reasonable form this season. Although he is a question mark over the distance of the World Hurdle he is a talented gelding who is worth a small each way bet.
