2013 Argento Chase Betting Preview

The 2013 Argento Chase is just one of the feature races that is set to be run at Cheltenham Festival Trails Day this Saturday.

The weather and condition of the Cheltenham track has been a concern all week but the latest reports coming from clerk of the course Simon Claisse indicate that racing should be able to proceed.

The 2013 Argento Chase field has taken a hit in the last twenty-four hours with both Bobs Worth and Tidal Bay being withdrawn from the event.

The withdrawal of the two leading contenders open this race up and makes it’s a very interesting betting race.

To help punters back a winner in the 2013 Argento Chase we have analysed the form guide and betting statistics to come up with our top selections for the race.

2013 Argento Chase Trifecta Tip

Wayward Prince (25/1) from Midnight Chase (20/1) and Little Josh (40/1)

This is an incredibly open race and very tough to analyse. Any of the three horses we have tipped could win and are all priced at attractive odds at Bet365 Bet365.

Wayward Prince has been impressive this season and finished a strong second behind Silviniaco Conti in the Grade 2 Charlie Hall Chase. The son of Alflora looks as though he is almost back to the peak form he exhibited during 2010.

Midnight Chase has a proven record in the Argento Chase but will need to rewrite history as no horse has ever won the race in back to back years. The eleven-year-old is slightly inconsistent but at his current odds is well worth a bet.

Little Josh is another inconsistent jumper but at his best is good enough to win at this level. The gelding returned to the races with an impressive win at Aintree and is primed for a big performance in this race.

You can get all the best odds for the Argento Chase and every other race this weekend at Bet365 Bet365.
