Banimpire is the favourite at odds of 3/1 to win. She took the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Ascot recently. It was a very close run thing, but winning by the slightest of margins has always been her style. We wonder about the level of activity she has seen this season, however, as this will be her eighth race in about 4 months.

Vita Nova is next in the odds at 7/2 to win. A close loss at Haydock last month followed an opening win for the season. It was a loss in a step up in competition, and this race is another step up. We don’t like the look of that for a win bet, but we would certainly pick Vita Nova for a place.

Gertrude Bell follows at 7/1 to win, coming back after a handy win at Goodwood in April. We really like the look of this runner, just not for a big bet. If you are willing to put a little money down on a good risk, then we think Gertrude Bell is for you.
