All the biggest races today are taking place at Navan, so we will focus on the big runs there. The first race we want to look at is the Listed Vintage Crop Stakes at 4:05PM. This is a races over 1 mile and 5 furlongs for 4 year olds and up, with a €26,000 prize for the winner. Fame and Glory is the likely winner here, though we think better value could be found in bets on Fictional Account. We think Fame and Glory is the best choice for a win, but his odds will be so short come the start of the race that it will hardly seem worthwhile betting on him.

The next race we’ll look at is the Listed Family Day Handicap, which is a race over 1 mile and 2 furlongs that will start at 5:10PM. This race is for 3 year olds only and pays €5,520 to the winner. We think that Roi Du Boeuf looks to be the best chance here, though it isn’t exactly a field full of stars. Brecan Boy and Port Elizabeth might also pull something off.
