Miami Gator Wins the Fudge & Smudge Leger Legends Classified Stakes

Miami Gator is the winner of the Fudge & Smudge Leger Legends Classified Stakes, bringing jockey Charlie Swan and proud owner Elaine Burke the win after taking an early lead in the race. Miami Gator proceeded to have no rivals for the duration of the race, taking the win. Miami Gator is certainly rising through the ranks, this being the horse’s second win within two weeks, the 3-year-old also taking out the Ian Stapleton Claiming Stakes in Carlisle in late August.

The Leger Legends race is run to support Jack Berry’s “House that Jack Built” fun facility, that raises money for retired and injured jockeys in the north of England.
