Horse Racing 21st September

There may not be any huge horse racing events this week but this Tuesday is by no means a boring day for horse racing fans. Horse Racing UK has found you two great horse racing fixtures to check out this afternoon – both part of the Bet365 4-1 Special, the gift that keeps on giving.

The two selected races this afternoon are the Beverley Annual Badgeholders Handicap and the Ladbrokes.com On Your Mobile Handicap – two fixtures packed with promising contenders and lots of horse racing action. As these races are part of the Bet365 4-1 promotion they come with a special twist. If you bet on one of these selected races at Bet365 and your selection wins at odds of 4-1 or longer, you receive a free bet on the next selected race matching your original stake.

However, that is not all: If your selection on the free bet wins at odds of 4-1 or longer, you get another free bet of equal stake on the next selected race following – and so on. This means that as long as you pick winners, you keep betting for free.

Beverley Annual Badgeholders Handicap – 4.00pm – Beverley Racecourse

This event for three year old colts and fillies runs over one mile and 100 yards, a great distance to test the ability and stamina of the young contenders.

The current favourite is Dream On Buddy, a three-year-old filly from the stables of Barry Hills, priced at 7-2 at Bet365 and 4-1 at Betfair. Although this contenders has not won a race since March, she has improved vastly in the past months, collecting two valiant second places in the Flexi Betting Handicap at Epsom and the Humphrey and Tilly Handicap at Thirsk in September. Hills and the rest of Dream On Buddy’s connections are hoping it is finally time for the filly to run another winning race.

Another hot contender is Tamarillo Grove, trained by Barry Smart. The colt took a while to warm up but recently won his first race, the Variety Club Open Maiden Stakes at Hamilton, and is hoping to make an impression in this afternoon’s horse racing at Beverley.

Ladbrokes.com On Your Mobile Handicap – 4.20pm – Folkestone Racecourse

This seven furlong sprint event for runners over the age of three is sure to heat up the action on the track at Folkestone this afternoon.

Morrison-trained Duster is one of the thoroughbreds most likely to win or place in this event, chasing his second career win after scoring a victory in the Ashford Handicap at Folkestone in June. Used to the 6-7 furlong distance and a proven champion at the Folkestone venue, connections are hoping the three-year-old gelding will do well today.

Amber Sunset, the winner of the Richmond Handicap – another seven furlong sprint event – may give Duster a run for his money. The filly is an experienced veteran of 28 career races and has run home first five times so far.

If you would like to back one or more runners in these great races, check out Bet365 or Betfair for excellent odds and 24/7 online betting convenience. Horse Racing UK wishes you a great Tuesday at the track!
