1,000 Guineas Stakes – Odds And Jockeys Update
A new generation of three-year-old fillies will battle it out in the 1,000 Guineas Stakes – the first leg of the British Fillies’ Triple Crown series – on Sunday 2nd May at Newmarket Racecourse. Quite a few of the young contenders have been matched with a cast of excellent jockeys, trainers booking only the best athletes to guide their young talents.
Trainer of three prospective runners Aidan O’Brien is still holding out with the selection of riders for his charges; as Kieren Fallon, one of his favourites, has already agreed to ride second favourite Seta for the Cumani stables. There is little debate amongst bookmakers as to the favourites of the race, however, they seem not quite so agreed about the middle of the field.
To give you an overview we have provided you with the odds given at William Hill and at the race-sponsor Stan James , the odds are current as of Thursday 29th April. Don’t forget to check the odds as the race draws closer, as they are subject to change until immediately before the start.
