Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – Distance: 2miles 4 furlongs 110 yards – Winning Time: 5:03.4

Pause And Clause, who placed third in last year’s Coral Cup, teamed up with jockey Johnny Farrelly to give a career best performance in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle. Trainer Emma Lavelle, who also schooled Crack Away Jack the winner of the 2008 Fred Winter Chase, is delighted with her charges’ performance; especially since it was Farrely’s first ride on the six-year-old.
Pause And Clause is the first winner Farrelly has ridden at this year’s Festival.
