The much awaited Opening Day of the St. Leger Festival kicks off four days of furious flat racing action in style and the gorgeous setting of Doncaster Racecourse. Sure, the St. Leger Stakes - final race of the classics and the English Triple Crown - is considered the feature race of the festival without contest, but that does not mean the days leading up have nothing to offer - on the contrary.
The first day of the St. Leger Festival features six high-class thoroughbred flat races.
