After three days of extraordinary flat racing action it is finally time for the much anticipated running of the Ladbrokes' St. Leger Stakes. The big feature race of the meeting and the last leg of the English Triple Crown and the Fillies' Triple Crown series, the St. Leger Stakes is one of the most valuable races run in the North of England and perhaps the most internationally followed race to be hosted in Yorkshire.

Ladbrokes St Leger Stakes
This is a Group 1 flat horse race open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It was established in 1776 and is the oldest of Britain's five Classics. It is the final leg of the English Triple Crown and the Fillies' Triple Crown. It is run over a distance of one mile, six furlongs, and 132 yards, making it the longest of the five Classics.
