Thankfully York Racecourse has the capacity to entertain a 60,000 strong attendance. This piece of racing heaven, located on the Knavesmire, was crowned Racetrack of the Year in 2003; and it even has its own radio station - 'York Race Day Radio' (1602 kHZ med-wave).
The running of the Ebor Handicap in 1843 is considered the birth of the Ebor Festival, which continues to this day to draw massive crowds each year. Today is promises not only multiple first-rate feature races on each day of the festival, but also guarantees peaks at the latest race course fashion. So do not miss through-the-roof excitement and a feast for the eye, from Tuesday to Friday in the month of August.

Day Two: Wednesday, 18th August 2010
Ebor Day
Day two ups the ante with two hair-raising feature races, each more valuable than the next, which are sure to get the adrenalin going for the regular race goer and the trackside rookie alike. While Juddmonte Day is about the warm up and the sheer joy of the Sport Of Kings, Ebor Day focuses its attention at the primal energies unleashed by the equine (and human) athletes as soon as they hit the turf. This is the day to unleash your inner racing fans deepest passion.

Day Three: Thursday, 19th August 2010
Ladies' Day
Get ready to experience the oldschool glamour associated with the original royal meetings at the Ebor Festival's Ladies Day. This day will keep you entertained with an impressive seven event racecard and - of course- the almost compulsory best dressed competition. Whether you prefer cheering for your selection or your lady; Ladies' Day holds entertainment for everyone, as well as a return to the suave styles which are so often neglected in everyday life.

Day Four: Friday, 20th August 2010
Nunthorpe Day
Ending the four days of festival action on a high, Nunthorpe Day features (unsurprisingly) the Nunthorpe Stakes as its feature race and promises plenty more racing action throughout the afternoon. Spend a glorious Friday afternoon having a flutter and a cheer - perhaps even enjoy some of the live entertainment after the last runner has crossed the line. After four days of non-stop equine excitement, there is very little left to do than kick up your feet and enjoy the rest of the ride.
