The organisers are Ayr Racecourse are taking the tradition of Best Dressed Competitions to a whole new level, giving away a brand new Vauxhall New Astra Door 1.5 Turbo as a first prize; while the well-dressed runner-up will be treated to a holiday cruise courtesy of Stewart Travel.

While seven races between some of the finest thoroughbred runners to grace the tracks this season will surely keep your adrenalin pumping, you will also be able to feast your eyes on the most outrageous and elegant trackside fashions throughout the day.

27 of our most gorgeous racegoers, some of them determined at earlier race days, others selected on the very day, will take their chances by drawing random entrants to the William Hill (Ayr) Bronze Cup, hoping their ticket will make it first across the line. The lady lucky enough to draw the winning horse at this lottery will be driving away in style.

To put the icing on this tasty cake of thrills and threads, Ayr Racecourse is hosting a Grease tribute party in the Horseshoe Bar. Immerse yourself in the nostalgic tunes and the gorgeous waterfront scenery - waht better way to end one of the best race days you are likely to experience this season.
